The more than mythical "Géant de Provence" is located in the middle of the Comtat plain and culminates at 1912 m. From the top one has a wonderful view on the Alps as well on the plains extending as far as the Mediterranean Sea. The Mont Ventoux is a true legend fort cyclists all over the world. Those cyclists who can muster enough courage to brave this mountain, will never forget its exceptional vegetation, harsh climate and the moonlike landscape of the top surmounted by the observatory.
